Sebastián holds a PhD in Engineering from the International Max Planck Research School of the Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems and the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Faculty of Process and Systems Engineering, conducted in collaboration with TU Darmstadt, Institute of Automatic Control and Mechatronics (Germany). His postdoctoral experience includes positions at Princeton University, Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (United States), and at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia’s National Science Agency.
