Where do the Donations go?
Your donations will be used to fund research opportunities, business and health competitions, app developers, graphic designers, clubs/chapters, events and banquets, and trademarks.
Tax deductions (Our EIN: 99-1955121)
For cash donations to public charities, you can generally deduct up to 60% of your adjusted gross income (AGI)
For donations of $250 or more, you need a written acknowledgment from the charity.
For Non-Cash Donations: Obtain a receipt from the charity, and for significant items (over $500), you'll need to fill out IRS Form 8283.
Tax Impact: If your adjusted gross income (AGI) is $50,000, and you’ve made $1,000 in cash donations, you can potentially deduct the full $1,000, reducing your taxable income from $50,000 to $49,000. The actual tax benefit depends on your tax bracket.
