Why We Created This Campaign
We created this campaign for one simple but powerful reason:
To give Sydney a real chance at healing.
Sydney has spent years living with the invisible weight of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. She’s been through it all therapy, medications, hospital stays, treatment programs. And yet, there are still days where the darkness is too heavy, the fear too loud, the world too overwhelming.
That’s why this campaign exists.
Sydney needs something that traditional treatment hasn’t provided:
A psychiatric service dog a trained partner who can intervene in moments of crisis, calm the chaos, and quite literally help her stay alive.
This isn’t just a dog. This is a lifesaving medical companion trained to:
Interrupt panic attacks
Provide grounding during dissociation
Use pressure therapy when her body is overwhelmed
Stay by her side when the outside world feels unsafe
This service dog means hope.
It’s a lifeline to help Sydney not just survive, but finally live.
Psychiatric service dogs are highly specialized and expensive.
Here’s the full breakdown of what Sydney needs:
$18,000 – Training & certification
$2,000 – Adoption & health screenings
$2,000 – Medical care & vaccinations
$1,000 – Supplies (vest, leash, crate, food, etc.)
$2,000 – Ongoing training & handler support
Total Goal: $25,000
It’s more than Sydney can afford alone.
That’s where you come in.
Whether it’s through a donation, a share, or simply listening
Your support means everything.
This isn’t about pity.
It’s about helping someone feel safe again.
Helping someone breathe, rest, and live with dignity.
Sydney has fought hard to stay alive.
Now she needs a hand to keep going.
If you’ve read this far, thank you.
You are now part of Sydney’s story and possibly the reason she finally gets the help she’s been fighting for.
With love and hope,
Sydney & Her Support Team
