Custom Luminaire

With the idea of creating an interactive lamp, a Sword in the Stone design came to mind. It uses the sword as a switch to turn on and off the lamp. There are two switches allowing for different light levels. When you pull the sword out the lights turn on giving a magical ambiance of being “the chosen one.” The assembly required the use of various tools and the creative use of scrap materials.
