Calculator Lock (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is developed and published by Sparx Softech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
Calculator Lock is designed to help you hide and manage private photos, videos, audio files, documents, camera captures, intruder captures, and app lock settings.
The app may use information needed to provide these features, such as permission status, app settings, selected files, hidden file records, crash reports, app performance, ads status, purchase status, and basic analytics events.
We do not sell your PIN, pattern, security question answers, private files, filenames, file paths, or biometric data.
Your hidden photos, videos, audio files, and documents stay on your device unless you choose to share, restore, export, or delete them.
Calculator Lock does not upload your hidden files to our servers. File access is used only to perform actions requested by you, such as hiding, restoring, opening, sharing, or deleting selected files.
Calculator Lock asks for permissions only when they are needed for app features:
- Storage / All Files Access: Used to find, hide, restore, and manage files selected by you.
- Camera: Used to capture photos in the app and to capture intruder selfies after failed unlock attempts if the feature is enabled.
- Usage Access: Used by App Lock to detect when a selected app is opened.
- Draw Over Other Apps: Used by App Lock to show the lock screen over selected apps.
- Notification and Foreground Service: Used to keep App Lock protection running and to show important app notifications.
- Biometric / Fingerprint: Used for optional faster unlock. Biometric data is handled by Android. The app does not receive or store your fingerprint.
- Internet / Network Access: Used for ads, consent, analytics, crash reports, remote configuration, purchases, app updates, and notifications.
The app may use third-party services that collect information according to their own privacy policies:
- Google User Messaging Platform
These services may process device identifiers, advertising data, consent status, diagnostic data, crash data, purchase status, app usage events, and network information.
Calculator Lock may show ads through Google AdMob. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent choices and regional requirements.
You may remove ads through the in-app purchase if this option is available in your version of the app.
We may use analytics and crash reports to understand app performance, fix bugs, improve features, and keep the app stable.
Analytics events are designed not to include private filenames, file paths, PINs, patterns, security answers, or private media content.
The app may send notifications for App Lock protection, reminders, or general updates. You can allow or block notifications from Android settings.
We care about protecting your private content and app access. However, no app or method of storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, PIN, pattern, and recovery answer safe.
Calculator Lock is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
For users in regions with specific privacy requirements, such as the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, and other applicable regions, the App may show a consent notice or privacy options where required.
Depending on your region and choices, we or our third-party partners may ask for consent before using certain data for personalized ads, analytics, measurement, or similar purposes.
You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain data processing, or withdraw consent where applicable.
You can also manage app permissions, advertising ID settings, and ad personalization settings from your Android device settings where available.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Payments are handled by Google Play Billing. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Purchase information may be used only to activate premium access, verify purchases, manage subscriptions, and prevent misuse.
Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled through your Google Play account.
You can manage app permissions from Android settings.
You can hide, unhide, restore, share, or delete files from inside the app.
You can disable App Lock features from the app settings.
You can clear app data or uninstall the app at any time. Clearing app data may remove app settings and local records.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
