ครูสังคมศึกษาเป็นผู้มีความรู้คู่คุณธรรม บูรณาการหลักการ แนวคิด ความเชี่ยวชาญทางสังคมศึกษา เพื่อพัฒนาผู้เรียนเป็นพลเมืองตื่นรู้ของสังคม

Social studies teachers are knowledgeable individuals with moral integrity who integrate principles, concepts, and expertise in social studies education to develop learners into enlightened citizens of society.

1. มีความรู้ ใฝ่ศึกษาครอบคลุมศาสตร์ด้านสังคมศาสตร์และศาสตร์สาขาอื่นๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อให้สามารถจัดการความรู้และจัดการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษาอย่างบูรณาการ ตลอดจนมีทักษะในการสื่อสารเพื่อให้เกิดความรู้แก่ผู้เรียนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

(Possess comprehensive knowledge and pursue continuous learning in social sciences and related disciplines to effectively manage knowledge and integrate social studies learning, while demonstrating communication skills to efficiently impart knowledge to learners.)

2. มีความคิดริเริ่มและสร้างสรรค์ในการจัดการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษา การวิจัยเพื่อพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนสังคมศึกษา และสามารถพัฒนานวัตกรรมทางสังคมศึกษา ตลอดจนสามารถใช้เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการเรียนรู้สังคมศึกษา

(Demonstrate initiative and creativity in social studies learning management, conduct research for social studies teaching development, and create social studies innovations, as well as utilize information technology for social studies learning management.)

3. มีความเป็นผู้นำทางสังคมศึกษา มีความสามารถในการพิจารณาและแสวงหาทางเลือกใหม่ที่เหมาะสม และปฏิบัติได้ในการแก้ปัญหา และข้อโต้แย้งโดยการแสดงออกซึ่งภาวะผู้นำ มีความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม และสามารถทำงานร่วมกับผู้อื่นได้โดยใช้หลักประชาธิปไตย

(Exhibit leadership in social studies education with the ability to consider and seek appropriate new alternatives, and effectively implement problem-solving strategies and resolve conflicts through demonstrated leadership, social responsibility, and collaborative work with others based on democratic principles.)

4. มีคุณธรรม จริยธรรม และยึดมั่นในจรรยาบรรณวิชาชีพ มีรับผิดชอบต่อตนเองและสังคม ยึดหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียงในการดำเนินชีวิต ตลอดจนมีจิตสำนึกในการอนุรักษ์ทรัพยากร ธรรมชาติและสิ่งแวดล้อม สำนึกในความเป็นไทย และเป็นพลเมืองดีของสังคมโลก

(Uphold moral and ethical values and adhere to professional ethics, demonstrate responsibility to oneself and society, embrace the philosophy of sufficiency economy in daily life, maintain environmental consciousness for natural resource and environmental conservation, possess awareness of Thai identity, and serve as a good global citizen.)
