Established: 2020
Manager: Jeremy Kay
Bio: Arriving from the deepest part of the Atlantic is a whole new species of beasts who look to battle in 2020. The bazooka sharks are just as they sound, tough, full of fight, and loaded with power which should help them win the war and emerge as champions.
2020 Analysis:
Hitting: A - The Sharks have a ton of strong bats with baseball and Wiffleball background, so there will likely be a lot of pop throughout the lineup.
Pitching: B - The Sharks have many options, but no true veterans on the mound to start 2020. It will be interesting to see which pitcher claims the starting role and gets the team going.
Fielding: C - This team will not be reliant on its ability in the field. While they make the routine plays, you will likely see them as nothing but average on the field, with pitching K's as their best defense.
Roster:
#35 Jeremy Kay
#66 Eric Jacobus
#13 Rylan Devalois
#9 Ben Johnson
#27 Austin Young
#77 Stephen Freeman
Series Analysis:
Week 1: Bye
Week 2: VS Phoenix (Swept)
On a windy day, the young arms of the Bazooka Sharks were met with one of the toughest lineups in the league. The Phoenix did not let any pitcher settle in, scoring in multiple games. On the upside, the sharks hit off of the Phoenix pitching well, scoring a fair amount of runs. All the hitters got in on the action too, which will allow for big innings in the future.

Week 5:
Established: 2020
Manager: Addison Knudsen
Bio: Don't let the size fool you, there is a ton of fight in these dogs. They are quick and athletic, and hope to snatch the championship as if it was a chew toy. The Dashing Dachshunds may just Dash away from the competition in 2020.
2020 Analysis:
Hitting: B - The Dashing Dachshunds will rely heavily on some core bats in their lineups for the majority of the season. Teagan, Tanner and Addison are all experienced hitters, but the rest of the lineup will be learning. It will hopefully improve as the season continues.
Pitching: B+ - The Dachshunds' pitching staff will be reliant on two arms consistently, Addison and Teagan. Both are solid, and have potential to be the strongest 1-2 punch in the league, but Addison is young, and unless she pitches with confidence, Teagan will have to eat some innings.
Fielding: B+ - Teagan has consistently been a top fielder in the league, and with the addition of Keaton, they should have good coverage in the field.
Roster:
#14 Addison Knudsen
#2 Teagan Merta
#32 Tanner Rathjens
#16 Jordan Bleil
#23 Keaton James
#3 Anya Wiedenhof
#16 Lucas Tingley
#7 Summor McDaniels
Series Analysis:
Week 1: vs XPO: (Swept)
The Dachshunds held the Expos close in their first series, and Teagan showed out as expected. There just wasn't enough arms to contain the Expos' stacked lineup.

Established: 2020
Manager: Joey Heid
Bio: Montreals' legendary team returns in style, as it looks to reinvent its legacy and rewrite its story. What was once the gold standard of the MLB looks to become the gold standard of the SBL.
2020 Analysis:
Hitting: A+ -This team is full of veterans who have built themselves solid careers. If the Expos are gonna be beaten at any point in the season, they are going to need to be out-hit.
Pitching: A -There are four players with experience on the mound, and while Joey will likely be the main arm, the others could be very effective when deployed in the right spots.
Fielding: A - Chris and Jace are some of the best fielders in the league, and Amy has played at first for several years, this should be a fundamentally sound team.
Roster:
#99 Joey Heid
#23 Chris Heid
#13 Jace Merta
#37 Amy Knudsen
#6 Jack Pendergast
#17 Arrick Rinke
Series Analysis:
Week 1: vs DDH (Sweep)
The Expos started out hitting well, with Jace winning game one via walk off. Chris and Joey also got in on the action. The pitching was there when it needed to be and the defense held up against the Dachshunds late surges.

Week 5:
Established: 2020
Manager: Dave Breon
Bio: Straight from the graveyard emerge the Ghost-runners. While their bodies may be worn, the fight and desire to win glows inside them like a beacon. They look to haunt their opponents and return to the afterlife with a championship.
2020 Analysis:
Hitting: C - Aside from the team captain Dave, there are no proven bats in the lineup. Will and Greg know how to hit wiffleballs, but Blitzball is a whole new game. Expect one of them to help Dave supply the runs.
Pitching: B+ Dave and Will should be a great 1/2 punch in the league as the season progresses. Both are experienced pitchers, who will be converting to Blitzball from Wiffleball. It will be interesting to watch their development.
Fielding: B - There is no shortage of potential in the field, but on the flip side, there is no name that truly stands out. Will is likely to be the best defender due to his athleticism.
Roster:
#21 Dave Breon
#11 Jennifer Marsh
#23 Greg Heckart
#17 Dawson Walker
#30 Will Ortega
#38 Wyatt Frauenholtz
#0 Andrew Longfellow
#1 Austin Longfellow
Series Analysis:
Week 1: vs PHX (Swept)
The Ghostrunners took the day to explore what the team had in stock. Will pitched well in game 2, and Dave found his stroke, but were no matched for the well rehearsed Phoenix. They look to fill some holes in their game as they head towards the middle of the season.

Week 5:
Established: 2020
Manager: Adam Knudsen
Bio: From the depths of the Volcanic Ashes arrives the SBL Phoenix. The flame-throwing, high-flying crew hopes to soar in 2020 and capture their first championship.
2020 Analysis:
Hitting: A -This team is full of great bats. Adam has likely the best contact in the game, Blake can mash, Kennedy has been one of the best softball players in her high-school, and Isaac has raw strength. If the ball is put in play, this team has no holes.
Pitching: B -While they have the most accomplished pitcher in the league, it will be a fight to find who will become a solid number 2. Isaac has been in development, hoping to become a starter by year's end.
Fielding: A- - This team is athletic, and should be able to make routine plays with ease. While they may not have as many bodies in the field, they have the gloves and arms.
Roster:
#41 Adam Knudsen
#24 Blake Schulte
#10 Isaac Rubsam
#1 Kennedy Rentschler
#22 Merlin Pajazetovic
Series Analysis:
Week 1: vs GRS (Sweep)
The Phoenix took advantage of a rather inexperienced pitching squad and totaled 16 runs in the first game. Adam took care of business in the starting role and Kennedy was near perfect in her start. It was a team victory and they made it look routine.
Week 2: vs BZS (Sweep)
The Phoenix played against the wind, with a patient eye and timely hitting. Their pitching was the first to adjust to the weather, which helped keep the games close. Blake highlighted the day with a walkoff grandslam, just to show that the Phoenix will fight in tough games.
