SWIQ helps customers book exact appointment slots and helps service providers manage live queues. This Privacy Policy applies to the SWIQ mobile app and SWIQ website. It explains what information we collect, how we use it, which device permissions we request, and the choices you have.
We collect the information needed to provide appointment booking and queue management:
Account details: name, email address, password login credentials, role, and profile photo if added.
Contact details: phone number and address if you provide them.
Login details from third-party sign-in: if you choose Sign in with Apple or Continue with Google, we receive the sign-in token and account information needed to verify your identity, such as your email address and account identifier. We do not receive your Apple ID or Google password.
Appointment details: selected service, date, time slot, queue token, booking status, cancellation reason, reschedule history, and live queue status.
Provider details: clinic or service name, provider name, category, location, gallery images, availability, QR code/service code, staff assistants, and subscription status.
Notifications: notification records used for booking confirmations, cancellations, reschedules, live queue updates, and turn alerts.
Device permissions and protected resources: camera, photo library, notification permission, and related device settings when you choose to use features that need them.
Website data: information you enter into website forms, support requests, or provider onboarding/contact forms.
Support and operations data: logs, device/app diagnostics, and usage records needed to secure the service, debug issues, prevent misuse, and maintain reliability.
We use information to:
Create and manage customer, provider, staff, and admin accounts.
Book, cancel, reschedule, and track appointment slots.
Generate and show queue tokens.
Send booking, cancellation, reschedule, queue movement, delay, early-running, and turn notifications.
Let providers manage availability, staff assistants, queues, walk-ins, and service profiles.
Improve app reliability, safety, and customer support.
Maintain operational records and comply with legal requirements.
SWIQ asks for device permissions only when they are needed for a feature you choose to use:
Camera: used only when you choose to scan a provider QR code. For example, scanning a clinic or salon QR code opens that provider profile so you can book an appointment or join the queue. SWIQ does not use the camera in the background.
Photo library: used only when you choose an image for your customer profile or provider gallery. For example, a clinic owner can select photos from the library to show their clinic on the provider profile.
Photo library add/save access: used only when you choose to export or save app-generated images, such as a provider QR code.
Microphone: SWIQ does not record audio during normal use. If an iOS camera or media feature requests microphone permission, audio is used only for media you choose to capture in the app.
Notifications: used to send booking confirmations, cancellation updates, reschedule updates, queue movement alerts, delay or early-running alerts, and turn reminders. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
Internet/network access: used to connect the app and website to SWIQ servers for login, bookings, queue updates, provider profiles, support, and account management.
You can change device permissions at any time in your iOS or Android settings.
SWIQ shares appointment information only where needed to provide the service:
Customers can see information about the provider they book with.
Providers and authorized staff can see appointment and contact details for their customers.
We may use service providers for hosting, analytics, notifications, authentication, email, website hosting, support, and payment/subscription processing.

The website may use hosting, analytics, security, or form-processing services that process technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, pages visited, and approximate location derived from network information. We use this information to keep the website reliable, understand usage, and protect against misuse.
SWIQ may send notifications about booking confirmation, cancellation, rescheduling, live queue movement, doctor/provider delay or early status, and when it is your turn. You can disable push notifications in your device settings.
Camera access is used only for QR scanning or media features you choose to open. Photo library access is used only when you choose to pick or save an image. SWIQ does not access your camera, photos, or microphone without your permission.
