Before every social dance, we run a 30-minute crash course in the featured style of the night.
Designed for complete beginners, this quick lesson will get you comfortable and ready to join the dance floor right away.
No experience needed
No partner required
You’ll learn just enough to start dancing—and have fun doing it.

Check out the three main swing dance groups in Winnipeg:
Hepcat Studio, River City Swing, and UM Swing.
Kalie has trained with all of them, so if you’re not sure where to start, feel free to ask—she’s happy to help you find the right fit.

FREE for Class Pass participants (Proof of enrollment needed.)
FREE if the venue is free to use. If you have a home for us during the winter months, let us know.
Note: All prices doubled on live music nights. Includes the crash course and social dance.
Donations are always accepted and reinvested to improve our services.

Certified Dance Instructors: FREE | Proof needed.
Birthday: FREE | Once per year. Proof needed.
Anniversary: FREE | Once per year.
Greeter: $5 off per every half hour at the door. | Must coordinate with the organizer in advance.
Class Pass: FREE | Must be enrolled in a swing dance class, taught by a recognized instructor. Proof of paid enrollment needed.
Note: Not valid for live music nights. Class Pass is 50% off live music nights.
