As a dedicated PDF and document viewer, the core functionality of Swift PDF Viewer relies on accessing your local files.
Local Processing Guarantee: We want to explicitly clarify that any documents you view, manage, or delete using our App (including PDF, Word, Excel, and PPT files) are processed entirely and exclusively offline on your local device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your personal files, documents, or their contents on our servers or any third-party cloud environments.
To provide and improve our services, we may collect certain non-personally identifiable information, such as device identifiers, usage data, and crash logs, strictly facilitated through integrated third-party services.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 10 and below):

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 10 and below):

Purpose: Required to scan, read, and display supported document files stored on your device's external storage so you can view them seamlessly.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 11 and above):
Trigger Context: Requested upon initial setup or when accessing comprehensive file management features.
Purpose: Due to Scoped Storage restrictions introduced in Android 11, this "All Files Access" permission is strictly required to allow the App to access, view, and manage (e.g., delete) document files across your entire device storage. We only access document-related files to provide core PDF viewer functionalities and strictly adhere to Google Play's policy regarding this sensitive permission.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13 and above):
Trigger Context: Requested on the splash screen or main page if the notification permission has not yet been granted.
Purpose: Used to send you relevant App updates, alerts, or background process statuses (e.g., when a background task is running).
FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE:
Trigger Context: Initiated during the splash screen, main page loading, or upon App launch after authorization.
Purpose: Necessary to maintain stable, continuous document processing and rendering, ensuring the App functions smoothly without being prematurely terminated by the Android system when performing heavy tasks or running essential background operations.
