Before you select your car make sure it isn't on the banned cars list. Also remember you will need the advanced tuning pass to fully unlock your cars potential for drifting.
Commonly Asked Questions
What's the best drift car?
That is completely up to your preference since pretty much every car can drift, however keep in mind that a car that's too heavy, or doesn't have enough horsepower might not be able to get as much wheelspin for drifting.

Does TCS (traction control system) and ABS (anti-lock braking system) need to be off when drifting?
Yes, TCS needs to be off in order to slide, otherwise you won't create enough wheelspin to drift effectively.
ABS does not have to be off, but if you want the car to lock up when braking with the S key bind then you can turn it off if you want to.

Do I need the Advanced Tuning Gamepass?
Yes, you need it in order to adjust steer settings which is the most important tune for drifting and for the drifting to be smooth.
Yes, you can drift without the gamepass, but you will have a much harder time controlling your drift since you are stuck with the stock steering settings which are not made to drifting.

Should I fully upgrade my car in terms of engine, weight, forced induction, ETC?
Personally I prefer having my car with as much power as possible since the car could still stall out despite having over 1k horsepower
Some of you might think that a drift car needs a certain amount of horsepower but you can’t compare real life cars to Roblox, meaning that it's better to have more power on your car than less.

Can I use AWD for tuning drift cars?
Yes you can use AWD as long as you put most of your torque-vectoring to the rear (around 80-95%) making it feel similar to a RWD car. But you will be better off with using RWD.
