Event Rounds and How They Work

Lead Position - During tandeming, the car leading is the lead driver. The goal is to set clean lines and to try and pull ahead of the chase driver.

Chase Position - During tandeming, the car chasing is the chase driver. The goal is to follow the lead driver as closely as possible without crashing into them while drifting as well as possible.

During each round both of the contestants will have a run at each position.

Practice - Half an hour before qualifying. The track is open for anyone to use and the goal of this time is to just get some practice in.

Qualifying - Once practice is over qualifying takes place. When you qualify, you will drift by yourself on the given track and 3 judges will rate your run from 0-100 points and you will get only 1 run. After everyone is finished with qualifying, the top 32 or 64 people depending how many people qualify will be entered into the tournament and the rest don't advance.

(100 points is the max points you can get, meaning that is a perfect run)

Once qualifying is done you will be paired with another player randomly. You will each do one lead tandem run and one chase tandem run. The 3 judges will then decide who drifted better overall in both the lead and chase position. The better drifter moves on. If the judges can't decide which was better then they can call for a One More Time where both contestants will redo the round. This is repeated throughout each 'Top' round until a winner emerges.

Top 64 - The first round where half the players leave and the other half move on. (NOT ALWAYS USED)

Top 32 - The remaining 32 battle it out for a chance to move on.

Top 16 - The 3rd round with the 16 players left competiting to move on.

Top 8 - The top 8 players remaining.

Top 4 - The final four face off for a chance to compete in the final round.

Top 2 - This round decides the ultimate winner.
