ACTV Water Transport:
ACTV Water Transport in Venice provides a network of 159 watercraft, including vaporettos, motorboats, and larger battelli foranei. Established in 1881, ACTV has a rich history, ensuring transportation across the city with over 120 floating stations and 30 well-connected lines. City Centre lines traverse Canal Grande and the Giudecca Canal from Tronchetto or Piazzale Roma to Lido di Venezia (lines 1 and 2).
City Circle lines extend to Murano and Lido di Venezia, while Lagoon lines connect external islands like Murano, Burano, and Torcello, reaching the Mainland and Marco Polo airport (lines 3, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 5.2, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19). Seasonal Lines operate during summer or major events to accommodate high tourist traffic.
ACTV ensures 24-hour transport, including a night service (Line N) from midnight to 5:00 a.m. Additionally, Ferry Boats transport cars from Tronchetto to Lido di Venezia.
Alilaguna: Alilaguna is another public transport service. Its navigation network consists of and Punta Sabbi five lines connoni.
Bus service: Venice also has a bus network. ACTV and ATVO buses leave from Piazzale Roma for the Mainland, Mestre, city center, the Venice Marco Polo airport, and the Treviso Canova airport.
ACTV has two night-time lines for Mestre.
