This upper division course is taught most spring semesters and involves an experiential, field research project in the lab. Students learn how to develop hypotheses, conduct literature reviews, design a field project, collect samples, and analyze and present their findings over the course of the semester. 

Dr. Swei is a co-instructor for the fall intro biology class that covers evolution, ecology, and organismal diversity.
