Hello Everyone,
We are continuing to closely monitor the developments related to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Due to the CDC saftey recommendations for the coronavirus, we will hold parking lot worship services on Sundays at 9:00 a.m. and also stream live via Facebook. In the event of inclement weather, services will be virtual only. Ssunday services are available to watch on the Sweet Home Baptist Church Facebook page, and older videos are posted on our YouTube channel.
Your giving is important and needed. The church will be open every Sunday immediately after service until 10:15 a.m. for you to drop off your tithe and offering even if there is no drive-in service that Sunday. We also encourage you to mail a check or money order payable to Sweet Home Baptist Church to 539A Old Stagecoach Road, Camden, SC 29020 if you cannot make the drop-off time. You can also pay electronically on Givelify.com by searching for "Sweet Home Baptist Church, Camden, SC" or use the following link: https://giv.li/m7n1du
We are praying for those that are affected by the virus and for God’s protection over all of us. Please partner with us in prayer and take the practical steps below to mitigate the spread of the virus:
· Stay home unless you are seeking medical treatment or working. Please wear a mask and gloves if you must go out.
· Dispose of used tissues right away.
· Avoid touching your eyes, nose, mouth and others with unwashed hands.
· Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water as often as you can. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.
· If you are not near a sink, use hand sanitizer. Sanitize all of the skin on your hands and rub them together until they feel dry.
Refrain from shaking your hands to dry them.
· Engage in respiratory etiquette by coughing and sneezing into the bend of your elbow.
· Sanitize freshly touched surfaces in your home, school or office daily.
· Avoid coming in close contact with those who appear unwell.
For additional information please visit the CDC, https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-nCoV/index.html and the NIH, https://www.nih.gov/health-information/coronavirus.
The steps we are taking are not due to alarm; rather it is an effort to take wise measures to reduce the chance of spreading the virus. We won’t be together inside the church building, but we will not stop being the Church.
God Bless,
Pastor Perkins
