3. Health Guarantee

• The Seller guarantees that the kitten is in good health at the time of sale.

• A veterinary health certificate will be provided at the time of transfer.

• The Buyer agrees to have the kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the kitten. A copy of the exam results must be sent to the Seller to validate the health guarantee.

• Failure to complete this exam within 72 hours will void the health guarantee.

One-Year Health Guarantee

• The Seller provides a one-year health guarantee from the date of sale against any life-threatening congenital or hereditary health conditions.

• If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses the kitten with such a condition within the guarantee period, the Buyer must:

  • Notify the Seller immediately.

  • Provide a written report from a licensed veterinarian;

  • Allow the Seller the opportunity to obtain a second opinion from a veterinarian of their choice.

• The Seller is not responsible for any veterinary costs incurred by the Buyer for diagnosis or treatment.

This guarantee does not cover common illnesses, parasites, injuries, or conditions caused by neglect, accidents, or environmental factors.

4. Spay/Neuter Agreement (if kitten is sold as pet)

• The Buyer agrees to have the kitten spayed or neutered by the age of 12 months (or by _________ [insert exact date]).

• Proof of spay/neuter (vet certificate) must be provided to the Seller by that date.

• Failure to comply constitutes a breach of this Agreement and may result in the Seller reclaiming the kitten without refund.

5. Lifetime Care & Vaccination Clause

• The Buyer agrees to provide the kitten with a safe, clean, and loving indoor-only environment for the duration of its life.

• The Buyer agrees to ensure that the kitten receives:

  • Regular veterinary care, including but not limited to annual wellness exams,

  • Timely vaccinations as recommended by a licensed veterinarian (core vaccines, boosters, rabies as required by local law),

  • Parasite prevention and appropriate grooming.

• If the kitten’s welfare is ever in question due to suspected neglect, abuse, or improper care, the Seller reserves the right to reclaim the kitten without refund.

6. No Sell / No Rehome Clause

• The Buyer may not sell, rehome, transfer, or surrender the kitten to any individual, shelter, rescue, or other third party without written permission from the Seller.

• If the Buyer is no longer able to care for the kitten at any point in its life, the Seller retains the first right of refusal to take the kitten back.

• This clause is in place to ensure the lifelong safety and well-being of the kitten.

7. Return Policy

• If the kitten must be returned to the Seller for any reason, no refund is guaranteed unless agreed in writing.

• The Buyer is responsible for all transportation and return-related costs.

8. Limitation of Liability

• The Seller is not responsible for any future veterinary bills, illness, injuries, or other costs incurred after the kitten leaves the Seller’s possession.

9. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the entire contract between the parties and supersedes all previous communications, written or oral.
Modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.
