About Us

Sweet Ginger Maine Coons is a mother and daughter owned cattery in Coshocton County, Ohio. Our goal is to breed and raise quality European Maine Coons and to find the the highest of quality homes. We are registered with both CFA and TICA though our kittens are primary registered through CFA. We are a closed cattery so we do not allow visits as this is our home.  We do offer and encourage Facetime or video calls for families interested in one of our kittens. This allows you to view the the kitten, learn their personality, and ask us any questions you may have.

Our journey to become a cattery started way back in the summer of 2024 when we got our first queen, Phoenix. After bringing her home and having found a mentor, we started to research and learn everything we could about the do's and don'ts of breeding. From there it spiraled into bringing more queens and a few kings home to get us started. After getting all the testing done on everyone, and deciding which queens to pair with which kings, our first litter arrived on December 28th, 2025.

Here at Sweet Ginger Maine Coons, our cats are part of our family and are treated as such. Our kittens are raised around kids, dogs, and other cats to insure proper socialization. Our kittens will go to their new homes only after receiving their first two sets of vaccines, dewormer, and a health certificate from our veterinarian.  Each kitten's registration papers will be ready to transfer into their forever family's name.
