FAQ About Events

1. What is a "cupsleeve" event? 

Simply put, a cupsleeve event is a gathering of K-pop fans at a location, typically a cafe, to meet one another, take pictures, and celebrate a K-pop idol(s) birthday/anniversary/special event/etc. People who attend a cupsleeve event receive a specially designed cup holder (hence the name "cupsleeve event") with that particular idol(s) theme.

In SweetEuphoriaEvents' case, it is an event for ARMY to come together on Oahu to receive a free cupsleeve, have fun, make ARMY friends, participate in BTS-themed activities, and celebrate BTS. Often times we also have vendors who sell BTS-themed items as well. 

2. Are your events free to attend? 

To receive a cupsleeve, we do require that you purchase an item from the event venue (i.e. if it's at a cafe, you must purchase a drink). The exact item/dollar amount that you need to purchase will be specified for each event. 

If you purchase a tier (more tier infomation below), you do not have to purchase an item from the event venue--your tier purchase will include a cupsleeve. 

3. Do I need to RSVP to attend?

We strongly recommend making reservations to attend, even if you are just getting a free cupsleeve. Depending on the event venue rules, reservations may be required for attendance. Each event will have specifications posted regarding RSVPs.

5. Where are your events held?

Our past events have been at Cheese Tea Waipahu, Top Tea Taiwan, Teapresso Bar Salt Lake, H-Mart Pearl City Food Court, and Mililani Fun Factory. We are open to any suggestions, but please keep in mind that our hosts live in Mililani and Waikele and have to take A LOT of stuff with them on the day of. Thus, large and ample parking is a must.

6. Can you tell me more about "tiers"?

A "tier" is essentially a goody bag filled with BTS-themed items and a cupsleeve. You have the option to purchase a goody bag when you RSVP. By purchasing a tier, you are guaranteed a cupsleeve and usually have the option to RSVP for a specific time slot. We usually offer tiers at two different price points for different budgets. 

Also, if the event venue gets too crowded, those who purchased tiers have first priority for entry. Tier time slots are often earlier in the day, which means first dibs on what the vendors are selling. Our vendors' merch is typically high in demand and very popular--things sell out fast! 

We highly recommend purchasing tiers in advance, as we typically only order just enough for the pre-orders with a very small margin for day-of purchases.  

7. What do I need to bring/wear/do at your events?

You just have to be yourself! There is no specific dress code. If you did purchase a tier, please remind the host your name and # of tiers bought. All we ask is that you be polite, punctual, and friendly to the hosts, other guests, vendors, and event staff.
