The Explainer

Welcome to You Bet Your Sweet Acronyms – the shortest way to BIG money! We'll select three contestants from our audience to compete for the top spot over five rounds of play.

The 5 Minute Highlight Clip

What will they be guessing? Acronyms! Contestants will tell us what each acronym stands for. For example, NASA: National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

Whoever gets the most correct over the five rounds will win a LOT of money and get the chance to come back and play for ONE MILLION DOLLARS.

The Pilot

Each of the contestants will start with $5,000. They can use this money to pay for hints from the audience if they don’t know an acronym, or save it all and try to take home a massive payday. But they should use it wisely, because after the first three rounds, only two will move on! Regardless of contestant winning or losing, audience members that have selected correct answers splits amount accumulated in their bank at the end of the show

After two more rounds of play, one of the contestants will emerge victorious and move on to our final round. There, they can win an extra $2,000, double their total money, and also have a chance to enter our Championship Tournament, where the grand prize is ONE MILLION DOLLARS.
