Selling your house?
Please ensure you are in compliance with covenants and bylaws because there will be a PA state law directed inspection of your home right when you select a buyer and before settlement to determine compliance. This is a very inconvenient time to learn of infractions and often leads to delays with the sale. Most infractions have to do with delinquent HOA fees and non-compliance with architectural guidelines, like having installed a fence or shed without prior approval from the HOA or deferred maintenance such as a dilapidated deck or unmaintained landscaping. Please self-assess against the covenants and streamlined architectural guidelines well in advance of selling your home to avoid delays and allow time for corrections.
