1. Game Duration
A game consists of 5 innings.
There is a 55-minute time limit for each game.
No new inning will start after the time limit has expired.
2. Teams
Each team can have 9 or more players on the field.
Teams will have 2 coaches on the field—one at 1st base and one at 3rd base.
3. Field Setup
The pitching rubber is placed 35 feet from home plate.
The bases are 60 feet apart.
The Tee will be placed directly in front of home plate.
4. Batting
The batter hits off a tee (no pitching).
Each batter gets 3 swings to hit the ball.
After 3 strikes (or 3 missed swings), the batter is out.
No bunting is allowed.
Batters must wear a helmet with a face mask.
5. Base Running
Runners cannot leave the base until the ball is hit off the tee.
No stealing or leading off the bases.
Runners must stay in the base paths.
If the runner reaches the halfway point to the next base when the play is stopped, they will be awarded that base.
6. Defensive Play
A team must have 8-10 players on the field.
6 players must be in the infield (including the catcher).
Players in the outfield must stand at least 10 feet beyond the base lines.
The pitcher must stand at least 8 feet from the tee when the ball is hit.
The catcher must wear full protective gear.
7. Scoring
Each team can score a maximum of 6 runs per inning.
The game ends if one team is ahead by 13 runs after 3 innings or 7 runs after 4 innings.
8. Timeouts and Breaks
Timeouts can be called if a player is injured or if there is a need to stop play.
Coaches can talk to players during breaks between innings.
9. Safety
All players must wear a helmet while batting and running the bases.
Players should not interfere with the batter or the ball once it’s in play.
10. Sportsmanship
Players are expected to show respect for teammates, coaches, and the opposing team.
Coaches are there to encourage and help all players, regardless of skill level.
