Since PhD I am working on Mesoscopic physics which contains a rich variety of topics ranging from fundamental physics in the cross-over region of thermodynamic condensed matter and atomic physics to nanotechnology which provides building block of quantum computer. I think my research experience will help me to offer an interdisciplinary course in Nano-science, Stochastic thermodynamics. Apart from these, I am open to give lectures in basic physics, namely, Classical Mechanics, Quantum Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Electrodynamics,Mathematical Methods and Condensed Matter Physics.

• I taught “Electrodynamics 2 (advanced course)” to a combined batch of Ph.D. and integrated Ph.D. (M.S.) students (in total 17 students) in the January-April semester, 2015.

• I guided Mr. Pratyush P. Buragohain for his MS Thesis on Spintronics during 1st and 2nd semesters of academic year 2012-2013.
• I along with Dr. K. Tarafder guided Mr. Veerareddy during initial phase of his PhD thesis until we moved from BITS.
• Mr. Ajinkya Gavane, Mr. Sudarshan Ghonge and Mr. Aditya Rairkar worked on a one- semester long undergraduate project on Spintronics in the 2nd semester of academic year 2013-2014. Mr. Ghonge and Mr. Gavane continued with the project in the following semester (1st sem. of 2014-2015). They are still continuing research on spintronics with me.
• Mr. Hareesh Gautham and Mr. Saurav Agarwalla worked on an undergraduate project Transport through quantum ring in last semester.
• Mr. Anirudh Ramesh, Mr. Arkadip Basak, Mr. Manav Kamlesh Shah and Mr. Manoharan Naidu worked on an undergraduate project 'Eigenvalue problems for nanosystem' in last semester.
• Mr. Bhanu Srivatsav, Mr. Bipul Prasad, Mr. Samanth Chilukuri, Ms. Spandana Pothuri, Mr. Srikar E. D. worked on a undergraduate project course on Quantum Dot in the 2nd semester of academic year 2013-2014.
• Mr. Varun Chappidi and Mr. Vivek Manu worked on an undergraduate project on Quantum Transport in the 2nd semester of academic year 2013-2014.
