To celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the SVS, we held a full-day symposium with the theme "Past, present, and future of plant ecology and geography in the Nordic region". The event featured invited speakers, interesting discussions, and fun activities including a celebratory dinner at Upplands Nation.
(Note: Ingvar Backéus recently completed an article based on his presentation at this symposium about the history of the SVS, "Swedish Phytogeographical Society 1923–2023: the first 100 years". Read the article here!)
