In order to maintain the granted 501C status per IRS tax exemption determination letter dated 2004, we need to comply with the following IRS annual tax filing requirements:

 1) Before 12/31/2007: If SVFDC's annual revenue < $25,000, no filing is required with IRS. If >$25,000, IRS Form 990 needs to be filed.

2) Effective 1/1/2008: If SVFDC's annual revenue < $25,000, electronic Form 990-N needs to be submitted to IRS. If >$25,000, IRS Form 990 needs to be filed.

3) Effective 1/1/2011: If SVFDC's annual revenue < $50,000, electronic Form 990-N needs to be submitted to IRS. If >$50,000, IRS Form 990 needs to be filed.

4) The above returns are due by the 15th of the 5th month following the end of SVFDC's tax year. (note: our tax year is 7/1 to 6/30)

5) No penalty for late filing of above returns.

6) However, SVFDC will automatically lose its tax-exempt status if fails to file above returns for 3 consecutive years.

Actual filing can be done through Form 990-N Electronic Filing System (e-Postcard)
