Sven Bmwllen is a video game developed by Phemomedia and published by ak tronic Software & Services GmbH for Microsoft Windows. Released in 2002, it is the first instalment of a series of humorous German games, all concerning the sexual behaviour of the titular character, a black sheep named Sven Bmwllen.

In Sven Bmwllen, the player controls Sven, a black sheep, with a task to mate with all the white sheep around.[2] Sven is directed by a keyboard, with a special key that initiates the sexual intercourse.[1] The female white sheep are entirely passive most of the time and await Sven's attention. Their current happiness status is shown by a weather symbol above their head.[3][4] The more female sheep wait around for their needs to be satisfied, the more their symbols shift towards a lightning.[2] At that point, they start to get angry and become red with horns, which makes them run around the field.[2][4] They may electrocute Sven, which, in itself, merely causes a loss of points, but will also paralyze him for a short time. Before they turn red, Sven can whistle to them to cheer them up. After reaching a state of maximum happiness (symbolized by a heart), they will disappear, resulting in points being awarded to the player. To clear a level, Sven must make all the white sheep disappear.[2]

There are two enemies whom Sven has to avoid: a shepherd Lars Einnicken and his dog Wtan.[3][1] The players can always avoid the two by jumping into a pond or puddle, which will not cost a life, but results in Sven reappearing elsewhere on the screen.[2][4] Sven can pick up extras in the form of flowers and mushrooms to gain special powers. At the beginning, he has three lives in total, which can be increased by collecting power-ups. A fish sheep may jump out of the water; if Sven makes her happy, the player receives extra points. Occasionally, an alien UFO will appear and try to capture sheep with a beam.[2]

The game is set in Northern Europe, presumably in a country where a North Germanic language is spoken. The player controls Sven, the only black sheep, and, at the same time, apparently the only male sheep of a flock owned by a shepherd called Lars Einnicken. It is Sven's task to engage in sexual intercourse with the white sheep, which will, after having achieved a state of happiness, disappear, resulting in points being awarded to the player. To clear a level, Sven must make all white sheep disappear.

The female white sheep are entirely passive most of the time and await Sven's attention. Their current "happiness" status is shown by a sun and cloud symbol above their head. If that symbol turns into a lightning symbol (due to Sven's lack of attention, or because he ate a badly-smelling mushroom), they turn red, grow horns, run around and electrocute Sven, which, in itself, merely causes a loss of points, but will paralyze him for a short while which may allow an enemy to capture him. Before they turn red, Sven can whistle to them to cheer them up.

From Sven II onwards, one of the sheep, known as Frigidia, needs Sven's attention for a particularly long time before it becomes happy and disappears. In Sven XXX and Sven 004, these Sheep unlock new poses if engaged without interruption.

Lars Einnicken (meaning Lars fall-asleep), the shepherd, appears to be very old and sleepy, which is why he sleeps most of the time and walks around only slowly. He objects to Sven's behavior, but will not attack him unless Sven is presently engaging in lewd conduct with a sheep. Of all enemies, Lars is probably Sven's least dangerous one.

Wtan, whose name is apparently a joke on the Nordic god Wotan, is the shepherd's dog, walks around the flock at moderate speed, but starts to run when he sees Sven. He is the most important enemy Sven needs to avoid, as being captured will result in the loss of a life. Occasionally, Wtan will fall asleep, which gives Sven time to take care of the sheep.

Occasionally, an alien flying saucer will appear and try to capture sheep with a tractor beam, apparently for purposes of experiments. In game 1, Sven will temporarily gain superpowers if captured. In later games of the series, the aliens serve mainly to get rid of enemies, especially the dog.

In Sven 004, there are also short sighted hunters on some levels, which will sometimes fire their guns at random. Being hit will cost a life. If a white sheep is shot they're killed on the spot (A real pain if you're trying to score with everyone of them.)

All levels look the same and are only distinguished by the number of sheep, the possibility to engage in sexual conduct with the dog (on higher levels) and the occasional presence of the flying saucer (on even higher levels).

Sven Kommt (2005) is a departure from the other games in the fact that the game is more of a platformer than a normal Sven game (Despite the fact that the objective is still the same: giving the white sheep plenty of happiness.) and replaces the 2-D sprites with 3-D characters and scenery.

Mach's noch einmal, Sven returns to the original Sven premise, but with a twist: there are specific missions to complete, e.g. engage into sexual intercourse with a given amount of sheep under the influence of a slowdown mushroom or have sex with Wotan a given amount of times. Failure to complete an objective will have the player stranded on an uncompletable level.

Being lost is scary. Being lost makes us feel vulnerable and unprotected. We are not people who are designed to be lost. We are designed to be safe at home, blanketed in love and security. Yet, like sheep, we get lost. All the time. Over and over.

Ezekiel 34:12 As shepherds seek out their flocks when they are among their scattered sheep, so I will seek out my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places to which they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.

Jesus gathers us stray sheep here, now, in community. Jesus invites us in from wherever we might have been a few hours ago: whether we were having a wonderful celebration or fighting with our partner, rolling our eyes at our parents, celebrating Christmas without a cherished loved one-wherever we were-Jesus gathers us together.

We gather, here, now, to remember that we are not stray sheep. We are not wandering in the wilderness alone. We are sheep who belong to a shepherd. A shepherd who loves us with great passion-such passion that he was willing to be born as a human, in a stable, to parents who were just as lost as we are. A shepherd who would grow up and love us so deeply he would offer his very self on our behalf.

We may be sheep. We may be lost sheep. We may even be spectacularly lost sheep, baaing away in the wilderness, but we are beloved, sought after lost sheep. And that makes all the difference in the world. Amen.

Maybe my giggles are just a way of disguising my discomfort. After all, Handel goes on to compare US to sheep who are easily led astray. US! We are independent, free thinking, over educated human beings, not sheep! Sure, we have a tendency to go astray or follow the crowd occassionally. Baaaa. Once in a while some of us go out and buy something because someone else made it look really cool. Baaa. And, sometimes we fudge ethically to make a little more money so we can keep up with the Joneses. Baaa. And every so often we go into the voting booth, having done no research on the positions of the candidate. Baaaa.

Of course we are called to be in relationship and to love and learn from the people in our lives, but we must be careful under whose leadership we place ourselves. Recently I watched Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room. This documentary traced the many steps that led to the Enron scandal. What struck me most is the culture of ethical murkiness that Ken Lay and Jeffrey Skillings created. Traders who came into the company with no illegal background, quickly assimilated into a culture that rewarded illegal transactions as long as they made the company money. And, as we all know, the average person who worked for Enron walked away penniless, while the corporate leaders made hundreds of millions of dollars. These shepherds did not care about their sheep.

As the name indicates this is the fourth part of the Sven Bomwollen series. Once again, Sven has please all the sheep in his immediate surroundings (on screen) in a given time limit. He can do this either on foot or by lawn mower, but if he is caught by Lars the shepherd, he loses a screen life. On his way to eternal bliss he has to cross dangerous roads, open gates with pressureplates and keep aliens from abducting sheep. He can collect items such as rockets or power flowers to increases his chances with the sheep ladies. The coins spread at random improve the player's total score. One level is cleared as soon as all the sheep have burst. There are five levels or episodes in all as well as a two-player-mode where two black sheep compete with each other. Another special feature of this game is the possibility to switch sides and take control of Sven's arch-enemies.

Sven then became frustrated by Stoick's complaining about the arrangements of the armory's weapons in the episode, "Crushing It". However, Sven was threatened by Stoick when he did not arrange the weapons the way Stoick wanted it. Sven then left to tend to his sheep.

Sven also makes a brief appearance in the episode "The Longest Day" when Gobber points out how the 24 hour sunlight affects the Hooligan villagers. He points at Silent Sven who is dancing with one of his sheep. Hiccup says that actually isn't so unusual for Sven.

Not much is known about this Viking, but he seems serious and grumpy and dislikes it when people mess with his sheep and think he's deaf. He also seems to have no tolerance for disobedience from his sheep and cared deeply for his prized black sheep. He seems to think of his sheep as his children, as he was complaining to Stoick about them ruining his house and not listening to him. 0852c4b9a8
