Sven A. Hartmann

My research interests lie in labor and media economics, with a preference for working on projects that use naturally occurring data.

After completing my Ph.D. at Trier University, I continued my research there as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Chair of Personnel Economics and the Institute for Labour Law and Industrial Relations in the European Union (IAAEU). I have also had the opportunity to complete research stays at the University of Oxford (academic year 2021/22) and at the Social Research Institute at University College London (Fall 2025).
