Brad Todorovich has served as Director of Sacred Music at St. Vincent de Paul, Elkhart since August 2015, where he oversees all aspects of the parish sacred music program.
Originally from New Lenox, IL, Brad holds a bachelor's degree in Commercial Music (Millikin University, Decatur, IL) and the Master of Sacred Music, choral conducting emphasis (University of Notre Dame). Brad is a versatile vocalist, choral conductor, organist, liturgist, and music pedagogue passionate about teaching the beauty, sanctity, and universality of Catholic sacred music to all. He is particularly interested in the art of liturgical chant as sung prayer and the growing repertoire of chant in English.
As a conductor Brad has led major works by Bach, Faure, Gounod, and Vivaldi, as well as other literature ranging from chant to modern. He has studied with Guy Forbes, Carmen Helena-Tellez, Tom Merrill, and Nancy Menk. His voice teachers include Dan Carberg and Steven Lancaster.
Brad lives in Mishawaka with his wife Robin and children Daniel (11), Michael (8) and Cambria (5). Robin teaches K-6 general music at Cleveland Elementary School in Elkhart and is an award-winning "Teacher of the Year"!!! Daniel enjoys building things, Michael loves monster trucks, and Cambria prefers ponies and princesses! Outside of work Brad likes to spend time with his family and is passionate about the Beatles and other rock/pop music, collecting LP records, cricket (the English sport), and board games.
