• Our published work in IMechE–Part A (https://doi.org/10.1177/09576509231171761) has won Donald J Groen Group Prize under ThermoFluids Group from the publisher in 2024.

• Dr. Manabendra De is appointed as a Honorary Assistant Professor in the College of Engineering, AcSIR- CSIR since May 2024. He is honored with Distinguished Alumni Award by C. K. Pithawala College of Engineering and Technology, Pune in June 2023. Dr. Manabendra graduated from CFD lab with PhD in 2020.

• Dr.Immanuvel Paul joined as Assistant Professor, Dept. of Aerospace Engineering, Kalifa University, UAE since January 2024. Immanuvel Paul graduated from CFD lab with MS in 2013.. 

• PhD scholars - Sai Guruprasad Jakkala and Darshan Patel were given Sustainability Champion award for contribution in research in sustainability domain, IITM, Oct. 2023.

• MS scholar, R.Vishnu, was awarded Institute Research (IR) award, IITM, Nov. 2023.

• Media coverage for our new research article in Applied Thermal Engineering: Our recent article based on active vortex generation in minichannels using the Onsager-Wien effect is now featured in various news papers (Times of India, The Hindu, The Week, India Today)

• Mr. Vibhav Hiwale won the Best paper Award in 10th International Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow (HTFF, 2023) conference, UK, 2023.

• Dr. Srinidhi Gadde, Joined as Assistant Professor at University of Twente, Netherlands since June 2023.: Srinidhi graduated from CFD lab with MS in 2017.
