Other Artwork

As a baby scribe, I was very intimidated. I got myself a cheap pack Michael's brand gouache paint and tried my hand at an artist trading card. This was my first.

Gifted to Mistress Finnguala Inghean Alister.

Gaining confidence with the little cards. Someone told me to look up medieval elephants and they did NOT disappoint.

Gifted to Maol Mide Ingen Medra.

More medieval elephant fun.

Sometimes when I'm not sure about a technique, type of paint, or paper, I will do a test on one of the little cards. This was one such test while I was working on a white scarf award (see 2023 for the award). This one is on pergamenata.

Gifted to Ingen Anolainmeic Cerbaill.

Another version of the same, this one on bristol. I was actually testing the white vine work on the two surfaces to see which I preferred.

My first trial at Noah in the "Whale" I liked it so much that I made a full scroll version of it (see it here in 2023)

Gifted to Baroness Thyri Bersi.

My boss at work jokingly said, "And I'll need an illumination for this." So I did.

This was a color test I did for someone. The full art did not pan out, but I think the little card turned out well.

A pin design I entered into the Trimaris Fundraiser 2024 Pin contest to help raise money for the Defender of the Queen's Heart yearly event.

Another pin design I entered into the Trimaris Fundraiser 2024 Pin contest to help raise money for the Defender of the Queen's Heart yearly event. This design got second place in the contest and lost by a single vote!

A bookmark I painted and laminated to give out at a demo event (I made several of these the same). I used a stamp for the shells and the rest is my own handwriting and paint.

A handmade stamp with the Shire of Starhaven symbol that I carved.
