Rabbit, who lives in the woods, loves to gather carrots and make carrot jam. One day, he receives a letter from his aunt who runs a store in the town. 

In the letter she recommends him to sell his jam. Rabbit is determined to make delicious jam. One by one, his friends come to play; first Mouse, then Monkey, and Bear. But, Rabbit declines and keeps himself busy all day and all night. 

Finally, Rabbit became sick. Doctor tells him to just relax and have fun. But, he still thinks about jam. Pretty soon all his friends invite Rabbit out for a picnic. Although he does not feel like going with them, they set off together.
