Hi, I’m Suzanne Gavenus.

I’m running for the North Carolina House to bring fresh energy to District 85. 

With practical solutions, I'll fight to solve the issues affecting our rural, mountain communities. I'll advocate for access to healthcare and mental health services, affordability with housing, and childcare. I'll  seek results to alleviate the pains of rising costs of daily living expenses and disaster recovery. And, to fully fund public schools for all our children, providing educators and all state employees with the respect and pay they have earned and deserve.

I planted roots in Western North Carolina because of strong mountain communities, and I want to bring the energy to help them grow!
