Eligibility & Application Conditions

The program is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from SUT partner universities worldwide.

Applicants should have an open and positive mindset toward learning, cultural exchange, entrepreneurship, and working in multicultural teams.

Application conditions:

• Applicants must provide a Recommendation Letter from their home university or an official endorsement email from the university’s designated coordinating office.

• Applications must be submitted through the designated coordinating office of the applicant’s home university.

• A maximum of 6 participants per university will be accepted.

Partner universities are encouraged to coordinate the nomination and application process through their designated international or coordinating office.

Program Fee

USD 400 per participant

The program fee covers:

Accommodation

Accommodation throughout the official program period is available in two options:

• Twin-sharing Room

Two participants will share one room. Twin-sharing accommodation is included in the program fee. 

• Single Room

Participants who prefer a single room are required to pay an additional USD 200 per participant, on top of the program fee. (Total USD 600). 

Transportation

• Local transportation within Thailand according to the official program routes and schedule.

Learning Activities

• Workshops and learning activities included in the official program schedule.

• Field trips and excursions organized as part of the program.

Meals

• Lunch and dinner on scheduled program days.

Airport Transfer

Airport pick-up and drop-off services are provided according to the dates, times, and meeting points designated by the organizers.

• Arrival: Airport pick-up is provided for flights arriving from 1:00 PM onward.

Participants whose flights arrive before 1:00 PM may wait at the airport until the designated pick-up time arranged by the program staff.

• Departure: Transportation from the accommodation to the airport is scheduled to depart at approximately 9:00 AM. Participants are advised to book their departure flights accordingly.

The Program Fee Does Not Include

• International airfare

• Visa fees

• Travel and health insurance

• Medical expenses

• Personal expenses and personal allowances

• Accommodation or transportation for early arrivals or late departures outside the official program period

Participants are responsible for arranging their own international travel, visa (if required), and valid travel and health insurance before traveling to Thailand.

Payment & Bank Transfer Information 

After submitting the application, accepted applicants will receive an Acceptance Letter from the SUT-GEC 2027 organizing team with payment instructions.

The Program Fee is USD 400 per participant. Participants requesting a Single Room are required to pay an additional USD 200.

Payment must be made by bank transfer, and all bank transaction fees are the participant’s responsibility.

Final participation confirmation will be issued after payment verification

Important Note:

Please note that the program fee does NOT include:

- Personal expenses 

- Flight tickets

- Visa fees (if required)

- Quarantine costs (if needed)

- Travel and health insurance (participants must have valid travel health insurance)

- Any additional days in Thailand outside of the program schedule.

Participants are also responsible for verifying the necessary visa and vaccine requirements for entry into Thailand.
