Why the Petition?

Please review this page and if you agree with the statements in the petition below and want to send a message to DelDOT, please sign your name to the petition, along with your address, town and date.

This problem stems from developers' efforts to save infrastructure cost by building one common facility to be shared by multiple communities or a community spread across a busy road. In the past few years, P&Z has approved several new developments to share common facilities and DelDOT did not object to pedestrian crossings resulting from such establishments, even where the public's safety would be gravely compromised.

This particular petition is to remove a crosswalk in the Angola area, but if this issue is not addressed, it will spread to other areas in Sussex County. If you are aware of other places of concern, or if you have a problem filling in the petition below, please send a message by clicking https://sites.google.com/view/sussex2030/join-uscomments

Thank you.
