Program 2:
Predicting environmental futures

Led by Professor Lovelock, program 2 will engage with government and other stakeholders to co-develop research needed for innovative solutions to mitigate the impacts of climate change and urbanisation, including sustainable placement of coastal and marine restoration initiatives and aquaculture ventures. Sub-programs include (i) Climate change impacts on coastal habitats and Blue Carbon (Lovelock); (ii) Water quality impacts (Albert); and (iii) Modelling Moreton Bay futures through government engagement (Lovelock and Martin).
