A long flight cruises through the night sky. Inside, Dr Mithi, a scientist who studies mosquito-borne diseases, rubs her temples. She had been researching in a tropical country, but now she is returning to her workplace in Europe. Without realising it, she has a tiny stowaway — Aedes, a clever mosquito hiding in her luggage, ready to explore a whole new continent.

It was a Sunday morning, 7 o'clock. A sudden shout woke me up: "Uncle, your name is on the newspaper; come see." I couldn't believe myself. Still, I entered the living room hesitantly. Meanwhile, Bodh, my curious nephew had taken the newspaper from my father and shown it to me.

Bodh to Bodhodaya: A Transformation Towards Sustainable Nation
This is a story about “Bodhodaya”, aka “Bodh”, a boy who lives with his parents and grandmother in a village “Katundidanga”. He is now nine and a half and has just started attending high school in a nearby town. Bodh's father is an auto-driver, and his mother is a homemaker. Earlier, his father used to sow paddy seed in their small land, but the scarcity of rain stopped that engagement. Read more
