I am Susankar Karmakar, a Government Professional, Author, Web Application Developer, Independent Researcher, and Lifelong Learner with a passion for integrating technology, governance, and social development.
Since beginning my career in public administration, I have been actively involved in digital transformation, data management, public service delivery, and citizen-centric governance. My work focuses on designing practical digital solutions that simplify administrative processes, improve efficiency, enhance transparency, and support better decision-making.
Beyond digital innovation, I am deeply committed to community development and social welfare. I have been involved in implementing and monitoring various government welfare programmes that improve the lives of vulnerable sections of society. My work includes supporting initiatives for child marriage prevention, school dropout reduction through the Kanyashree Scheme, social awareness campaigns, old age home inspections, grievance redressal, and facilitating access to government social security schemes, including pensions for senior citizens, widows, and persons with disabilities. I believe that effective governance is measured not only by efficient systems but also by the positive impact it creates in people's lives.
Alongside my professional responsibilities, I develop web applications using Google Apps Script, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web technologies. Many of my projects are designed to solve real-world administrative challenges, automate repetitive workflows, improve public service delivery, and make government services more accessible, transparent, and citizen-friendly.
Beyond technology, I have a deep interest in writing, research, and civilizational studies. I enjoy exploring subjects such as Indian civilization, public administration, geography, history, governance, artificial intelligence, and future technologies. Through my books and articles, I aim to present complex ideas in a clear, engaging, and meaningful way while encouraging informed discussions on governance, society, and national development.
Travelling is another important part of my life. Every journey helps me understand cultures, landscapes, and communities more deeply. From the Himalayas to historical cities and rural landscapes, each destination broadens my perspective and inspires both my writing and my approach to public service.
This website serves as my personal digital knowledge hub—a place where I share my books, web applications, research, travel experiences, articles, resources, and ongoing projects. It reflects my continuous journey of learning, creating, serving society, and contributing to a future where technology, knowledge, and compassionate governance work together for sustainable and inclusive development.
