Welcome to Band! Learning an instrument helps students develop all types of intelligences. It can be such a rewarding experience to be part of an ensemble as well as watching individual growth as a musician.
Jennifer Weglein is the band teacher at St. Ursula School. This is her twenty-ninth year at St. Ursula and her thirty-first year at the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Our bands are top notch and well known for our superior performances at concerts and festivals.
Mrs. Weglein will be contacting you to go over this information and to find out if your child will be signing up for band. We understand that this is a big decision for you and your child, and we look forward to discussing this exciting possibility with you.
