War is played in tournament-style rounds (i.e. players are paired up using the .pick feature to conduct battle against each other. Once two players have had their battle they cannot be selected to have battles with other players.)
The host decides how many players will be eliminated at the end of each round. This number will generally be consistent but can start high and de escalate with larger PLs.
The host will use .pick to choose a player to initiate a battle with another player.
The fight will consist of each player being dealt a card using .roll 13. The higher card wins. Winning players will score an amount of equal to the face value of the card you defeated.
Face cards have special score values; (Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13, Ace = 15)
In the case of a tie, a WAR will commence. A war consists of a new card being drawn by each player. The winner of the war will win the points for both the card they beat as well as the card that caused the tie. In the case that the war also ties, a new war will start with the winner taking all of the spoils per the above ruleset.
Both players will then be removed from pick and the host will continue to use .pick to choose players until everyone has fought. In the case of an odd PL the last person will fight an NPC.
When a player finishes a round with a score of 16 or higher, the player(s) with the lowest score will be eliminated and scores will be reset.
