Cycles
Each cycle lasts 1 month. The person with the most points at the end of a cycle is crowned the champion and earns a place in the Survivor Hall of Fame. The more games played and hosted and the more events participated in, the more points can be earned.
Each cycle also contributes towards the Survivor Season. Each season lasts a total of 3 cycles and whoever sits at the top of the leaderboard at the end of the season is crowned the seasonal champion!
Scoring
Survivor recently updated its leaderboard structure. The new structure goes back to the simpler scoring of awarding a flat amount of points for each game, but that number of points drastically favors those who win the game. Second place usually earns the second most amount of points in a game, with the host earning more than participation due to the fact that the host is arguably the most important part of any game, but also because they forfeit their chance to win or come in second place in the game if they host it.
This change is so that the leaderboard more accurately reflects who has been the luckiest during a given cycle. Additionally, this is easier to upkeep throughout the cycle, as the previous formula created several issues with resolving scoring issues.
Seasonal Points
Seasonal points are points accrued over an entire season based on your LB standing each cycle and the events you win. You can check .slb for the current seasonal LB. Seasons last for three months.
Points are calculated as follows:
At the end of the cycle, everyone gets 10% of their LB score towards the seasonal LB.
10% of 1st and 2nd place points for deathmatches, minigames, boss battles, and showdowns will go towards seasonal, rounded down (e.g. if you won 102 pts being 1st place in a deathmatch, you would get 10 pts towards the seasonal LB).
For players who win weekend events, 20% of the 1st place deathmatch points that correspond to the total PL size of the entire event will go towards seasonal. (e.g. if 20 players participated in a 24 hr Surv, the individual winner gets 20% of 716, the winning point value for a 20pl deathmatch).
Points
Below are the points tables for each host. The values here are the number of points you are awarded based on where you place in a game, the kind of host, and the PL size of that host.
