It’s a classic and innocent game of hide and seek with the seeker trying to find and tag everyone else in the game.
The game ends when the seeker has found everyone, or if the seeker runs out of lives.
Game:
Pick the seeker in chat with .pick [PL]
Host makes hiding spots, for example: Closet, Under the Bed, Basement, Attic, Behind the Curtain
Host can request hiding spot ideas from players if they want.
Host asks players to choose a hiding/seeking spot.
Seeker’s roll = 100+(10*number of spots available)
Seeker’s lives = hiding spots - 1
Amount of hiding spots = hosts discretion (5 is recommended)
Example PL format:
Hiders: Fire, Acorn, Purple | Seeker: Tree (4 lives) | Hiding Spots: Closet, Under the Bed, Basement, Attic, Behind the Curtain
If the seeker chooses a spot with no hiders, the seeker loses a life. When the seeker loses a life, a hiding spot is removed.
If the seeker and hider(s) choose the same spot, a roll battle between the seeker and hider(s) occurs.
When the seeker finds a single hider:
If the hider wins the roll battle, they escape and are still in the game. The seeker loses a life.
If the hider loses the roll battle, they get tagged and eliminated.
When the seeker finds multiple hiders, roll nd100 (n is the amount of hiders) for all the hiders.
If all the found hiders win the roll battle and escape, the seeker loses a life.
If some of the found hiders win the roll battle and escape, the seeker doesn’t lose a life. The hiders that lose the roll battle get eliminated.
If none of the found hiders win the roll battle, they get eliminated.
Important note: If there is a tie in the roll battle, no reroll occurs. The seeker wins, and the hider gets eliminated.
Repeat until a winning condition has been reached.
Winning conditions:
The hiders win if the seeker runs out of lives.
If there are multiple hiders left, they all do a roll battle for first and second.
If there is one hider left, the hider gets first and the seeker gets second.
The seeker wins if all the hiders are tagged.
If the seeker wins by tagging multiple hiders in the same round, the hiders do a roll battle for second.
If there is one hider left and the seeker wins by tagging them out, the seeker gets first and the hider gets second.
Modifications
Extended: Add up to 6 more hiding places (some ideas are shed, garage, kitchen, shower, behind the sofa, laundry room) and scale the seeker’s lives and roll accordingly.
Juggernaut: Seeker’s roll increases by 10 for each hider tagged.
Freeze Tag (extremely long): If a hider isn’t found after 5 rounds (doesn’t apply to being found and avoiding a tag), the hiders may decide to tag an eliminated hider back into the game. Tagging someone back in removes 2 lives from the seeker.
