The aim of the game is to defeat all your opponents, who each have a specific typing (eg. water, fire, grass, etc.) with your own type.
There are NO Alliances in this theme.
Phase 1: All players choose a type and PM it to the host.
Phase 2: All players PM an attack to the host.
Phase 3: The host announces attacks... but there is a twist.
If the attacking type is super effective against the defending type:
Attacking: .roll 125
Defending: .roll 100
If the attacking type is neutral to the defending type:
Attacking: .roll 100
Defending: .roll 100
If the defending type resists the attacking type:
Attacking: .roll 75
Defending: .roll 100
If the defending type is immune to the attacking type:
Attacking: .roll 75
Defending: .roll 125
NOTE I: There is AI (Attacker immunity).
NOTE II: Players can choose abstain from attacking, but this can't be done twice in a row.
NOTE III: In the finals, the host will roll priority, and there is AI. If AI activates, the attacks alternate until there is a winner.
Modifications
Dual Hidden Type (by Lunar)
Inverse: Super effective becomes not very effective; Vice Versa
Protean: You can change your type every turn
Shuffle: Rather than picking your own type, player's chosen types will be shuffled and given out randomly among the PL. (by Annaoceancat & marillvibes)
STAB Hidden Type: Players select a typing at the beginning of the game that they keep for the entire game. When attacking, players choose a type to attack with, which is revealed in chat. If their attack type matches their typing, +25 boost from STAB is added to their attacking roll after effectiveness is applied
