Minimum PL size is 3.
Players who are defeated in roll battles aren't eliminated and can attack living players to get themselves back in. The last player standing wins.
Attacking Round
The first round is a standard Hunger Games round.
Dead players aren't eliminated, instead they get added to a separate PL at the end of the round.
e.g. PL: Alive: Player 1, Player 2, Player 4 | Dead: Player 3, Player 5
In later attacking rounds, only alive players attack, and they can only attack other alive players.
Haunting Round
Dead players attack the alive players to take their place in the game. Dead players roll 75, and alive players roll 100.
If the dead player’s attack succeeds, they get moved to the alive PL, and the alive player gets moved to the dead PL.
If the dead player’s attack fails, nothing happens and the PLs remain the same.
If multiple dead players attack the same living player, and the first dead player to attack succeeds, the other dead players' attacks will shift onto the player who emerged from the previous attack alive.
e.g. Player 3 attacks Player 1 and Player 5 attacks Player 1. Player 3's attack plays out first and they are successful, so now Player 3 is alive and Player 1 is dead. Player 5's attack will now carry out against Player 3 instead.
Repeat haunting and attacking rounds until two “alive” players remain.
Finals Round
If two alive players remain at the start of an Attacking Round, the “dead” players are now eliminated. The final two roll battle to determine the winner.
If 1 alive player is left after a normal attacking round (of 3+ players), they get first place. A haunting round ensues in which all ghosts can attack and trade places with the first place player, but whoever is alive at the end of the haunting round takes second place instead of first.
If the player who got first place is still the only alive player left after a haunting round, second place is determined by a roll battle.
If 2 players are left after a normal attacking round, and those 2 alive players are turned dead by the end of the haunting round, they will both have an opportunity to haunt whoever is alive. After those haunts, the 2 players left alive move on to the finals.
If multiple people tie for second, do a roll battle to determine second place.
Modifications
Ghost-Busters: Any player, alive or dead, can attack a dead player instead of a living player in either attacking or haunting rounds to eliminate them indefinitely. (by Baloor)
Graveyard: All attacks in a round go through even if one side of the attack died beforehand in the round. (by TheRoboticDragon)
