GAME:
The players’ aim is to beat the host's total while keeping their total less than or equal to 21.
Players start with $100.
Players make bets in chat.
Minimum bet is $10
All players must bet.
Host sets a short timer (30 seconds to 1 minute). All bets are to be placed before the timer ends.
After all bets are placed, the host deals themselves 1 card (.roll 13 in chat).
Host shuffles the PL and deals out cards to the players one by one by the shuffle order in chat.
Players get 2 cards at a time with .roll 2d13. The player chooses an action:
Hit: The host deals 1 more card to the player and asks for a Hit/Stand.
Stand: The player locks their hand and the host moves to the next player.
Double Down: A player can only double down after their first 2 cards are dealt. If they already have more than 2 cards, they can't double down. The player doubles their bet and the host deals 1 more card to the player, and moves to the next player.
Split: (Can only be done if the first 2 cards received have the same value) The hand is split into 2 hands and the Player mirrors the bet initially placed. The player then plays for both the hands one by one.
The player is Burst if their total becomes greater than 21.
After all the players have played, the host deals for themselves. The host follows these rules while dealing for themselves:
Hit until the total reaches at least 17.
Stand whenever 17 is crossed.
Ace (1) is considered to have a value of 11. If that would make the dealer burst, Ace is considered to have a value of 1.
WIN/LOSE:
Players collect their winnings or lose their bets.
Player beats the host: Host returns an equal bet to the player. (e.g. if you start with 100 and bet 20, you will end the round with 120 by winning).
Player gets a BLACKJACK: Host return 1.5x payout. (e.g. if you start with 100 and bet 20, you will end the round with 130 by winning because 20 * 1.5 = 30).
A blackjack occurs when a player gets a 21 total in the 2 starting cards.
Player is burst or player loses to the host: Player loses the bet.
The number representations and values for each card can be found below.
CARDS:
The 13 cards are as follows:
1: Ace
2-10: 2-10 respectively
11: Jack
12: Queen
13: King
The values of the cards are as follows:
Ace: 1 or 11 (player's choice)
2-10: 2-10 respectively
Jack, Queen, King: 10
ATTACKING:
After a Blackjack round, the host asks players for attacks.
Attacks are done HG style with the roll strength = cash in hand.
On a successful attack, the loser is eliminated.
On a failed attack, the attacker loses half (rounded down) their cash to the bank.
If a player runs out of money, they are eliminated.
If 2 players are left at the beginning of an attacking round, AI is off.
Note: The game goes as: Blackjack -> Attacks -> Blackjack -> Attacks … until only 1 player is left
