%Pants: Hello PenQuin, and welcome to your staff interview

#PenQuin: Thanks for having me B)

%Pants: The first question of the day is a two parter: how did you find yourself on PS!, and how did you find yourself in the Survivor room?

#PenQuin: Interesting question.

#PenQuin: Well, back in high school my dumb friends and I would battle each other using Gen 1 mons here on PS. To find each other we would join the room with the least amount of users, which happened to be Survivor at the time. I eventually started playing and talking to the regs and it ended up being the perfect room for me :] This started back in like 2014/2015

%Pants: That's really cool! What a way to begin such a long tenure as contributor in this room

%Pants: As a follow up, what do you think is your favorite thing about Survivor?

#PenQuin: The community 100%!

#PenQuin: We as a team do so so much for the room and have come a long way

#PenQuin: And at the same time we keep things chill and have fun.

#PenQuin: A good balance

%Pants: Couldn't agree more :) How would you like the room to progress and improve in the future? What are your goals for the community to reach eventually?

#PenQuin: Another great question....

#PenQuin: This past year alone we have had a bunch of old faces join back as well as new faces join the team. This to me shows that the direction we're currently going in is the right one. There's been so much conflict in the past on what we wanted to do and even now there is still some. The big difference now is that everyone here truly wants the best for Survivor and it's exciting to see.

#PenQuin: We have a few things we want to add in the future, so keep an eye out...

%Pants: As one of those old faces that reappeared recently, it really has been great to see the progress that the community has made in the last few years

%Pants: Can't wait to see what y'all are cooking!

%Pants: These are the last few Survivor based questions before we get moving into some other stuff: What is your favorite survgame, and who is your favorite surv staff besides yourself?

#PenQuin: Ah, fantastic question Pants.

#PenQuin: My favorite theme at the moment is TTP Long Version with many mods. These mods include Second Wind, Attackers immunity, and any other mod that will make the game go long. The longer i can play Survivor in one sitting, the better.

#PenQuin: Shadecession hosted a 3 hour game once and now i want all of my games to be as long as that one.

#PenQuin: And my favorite Staff... I'm sure you might've guessed it Pants, but Swirlyder and Paradise have been 2 of my best friends since i got to know them on PS. We all Co-owned Survivor together many years ago and we've done a lot together. With that being said, Le'Depression is my favorite Staff member.

#PenQuin: Oh and you Pants, cant forget about you.

%Pants: ;)

%Pants: The three of you have been hugely impactful on the room, and its pretty obvious to see it.

%Pants: Speaking of Swirlyder, we'll begin the non-Survivor related questions with a few silly ones from him.

%Pants: Firstly, what instrument do you like the sound of the most?

#PenQuin: I'm stumped. It's between the electric guitar and the triangle.

%Pants: Hell yeah. Who is the most based character in the hit Nickelodeon show SpongeBob SquarePants?

#PenQuin: Squidward is probably the character i can relate to the most.... Survivor staff is SpongeBob and the regs are Patrick. With that being said, my answer is Gary

#PenQuin: and im not talking Gary the Savage, I'm talkin Gary the Snail

%Pants: Of course, the snail is clearly the best Gary around these parts

%Pants: Last question from Swirl, and i quote: "omg is it purm??"

%Pants: Awesome
