This event is where users will use a different alias throughout the official games that weekend, and your job is to try and figure out who is who! Before the event (at least 48 hours prior), Survivor staff will have signups. You may sign up by PMing any of the Survivor auth listed here with your username and the nickname you would like to use for the event. Survivor auth that are not listed on that sheet may be participating fully in the event, so make sure to only send to an eligible staff member. Keep an eye out for when signups will be when the event is announced.
On the weekend of the event (Saturday and Sunday), Survivor auth will host a series of deathmatches. These deathmatches will feature ONLY the nickname that you PMed during the signups phase. During these deathmatches, the following rules apply:
A playerlist (PL) composed of all players who initially joined the game will be posted for highlights, as well as the nickname list (NL). The PL will not change over the course of the game to accommodate kills. In other words, if you die your real username will remain in the PL in order to protect your identity. Check the NL to see if you actually died or not!
Upon death, real usernames will NOT be revealed.
Games that must reveal true usernames as part of the theme will not be played. This includes but may not be limited to all spotlight themes, Exclusions, and Pokesurv.
Points for all the deathmatches will NOT be added until the very end of the event!
At any time during the event, you may guess which person is which nickname! You can do this by PMing any of the Survivor auth listed here. For the first match you get right, you will get +10 points to the Lucky Leaderboard, and +8 for each match you get right after the first one! If you don’t get a guess right, you will earn 0 points. You may only make one guess per nickname.
CHEATING (LEAKING ANSWERS, GETTING CORRECT MATCHES FROM OTHER USERS, OR COERCING OTHER USERS TO GIVE YOU THEIR NICKNAMES) IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED FOR THIS EVENT, AND WILL RESULT IN AN EVENT BAN FOR THE REST OF THE CYCLE.
