- Gears were printed on an Ultimaker 2+ 3D printer using two different types of material:
- Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
- Polylactic acid (PLA)
- Laser cutting
- Laser cutting was used to cut parts used for the mount
- Soldering
- Soldering was required to join electrical wires used on the charging and UV light/water turbine circuits
- Fastening wood and metal
- Nuts and bolts
- Nuts and bolts were used to fasten the metal frame to wooden display mount
- Screwing
- Screws were used to fasten various parts to the wooden display mount
