The purpose of this section is to check in on your research progress and to address any pressing issues. The meetings will address questions such as:
What type of project are you working on? How can you communicate this information to students outside of your lab?
What is the one new thing you learned in lab this week?
What is the one thing you accomplished this week?
For an obstacle that you encountered this week:
What are the objective facts about the issue? What are the technical challenges?
What are the subjective facts about the issue? How do you feel about the issue? What do you want?
How should you handle this obstacle? What are your next steps?
