Founder & Head Surf Coach

Surf Check Morocco was founded by a young local, Jamal Andam. Jamal was born in raised in Aourir, also known as Banana Village. Banana Village is situated 8km North of Agadir and just a 40 minutes from Agadir airport. You are in very good hands with Jamal as he knows the Atlantic coast like the back of his hand.

It is no surprise that Jamal grew up surfing. Jamal has been spreading his passion, experience and surfing knowledge to locals and visitors alike for over 8 years. It has always been a dream of his to start his own surf camp so he can pour his great vibe into his own project and lead groups with freedom and personality. So, after lots of hard work and a collobration with friends Surf Check Morocco was born.

Jamal is a kind, patient and charismatic coach committed to transforming his love for surfing into unforgettable experiences. Jamal will share his vibrant Moroccan culture with you on and off the waves. Surf Check Morocco is truly locally run so promises to bring authenticity and uniqueness to your Moroccan surf adventure. You will leave Surf Check smiling, with your taste buds tingling and with Moroccan music ringing through your ears.
