Our struggling learners are provided interventions through a multi-tiered system of support.
Tier 1: Classroom Intervention - Interventions are part of classroom-wide instruction. This includes flexible, small group instruction tailored for different skill levels or learning styles.
Tier 2: Small group Intervention - Includes the core instruction provided in Tier 1 and small group, supplemental instruction in the classroom (push-in) or in an intervention room (pull-out).
Tier 3: Small group Intervention - Includes the core instruction provided in Tier 1 and targeted, intensive (increased time, frequency and duration), small group instruction in an intervention room (pull-out).
Delivery decisions are made based on the academic needs of students. Students may move in or out of interventions throughout the year.
