Every other year a group of students and adults from Superior/Douglas County visits Ami-machi for a week of cultural enrichment and fun. Students stay with host families, and have the opportunity to visit unique sites, try new food, and make new friends. The next delegation will visit Japan in 2024. Learn more about becoming a student or adult delegate by clicking the link above.
Chaperones are needed for the Student Delegation to lead students in preparing for the trip, and providing supervision while they are there. These are usually parents of student delegates, or members of the community with an interest in supporting international exchange opportunities for local youth. View our Delegation Handbook to learn about the responsibilities and expectations for chaperones.
